  • Step 1: In a bowl, take a cup of any Keshar Kali rice and wash thoroughly. Soaked the rinsed rice in water for 20 to 30 minutes.

  • Step 9: Once the oil is warmed, add a teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Step 10: When the cumin seeds crackle, add ginger, green chilli, and curry leaves. Saute the mixture properly.
  • Step 11: Add tomatoes, salt according to your taste, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, and garam masala powder.
  • Step 12: Fry the spices till the oil separates.
  • Step 13: Add tomatoes to the fried spices. Saute properly.
  • Step 13: By now, the vegetables, rice, and dal will be properly boiled. Let the tomatoes cook. While you open the pressure cooker and mash the boiled veggies, rice, and dal.
  • Step 14: When the tomatoes are cooked, pour the tempered spices into the pressure cooker.
  • Step 15: Stir and blend the tempered spices with the rice and dal.
